I was hesitant going to the dentist since having a bad a experience a few years ago at another dentist office. My first time going in Portneuf Valley Dental all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I explained my situation and they were able to help me without judgement and make me feel more comfortable being at the dentist.

It’s always a pleasure doing business with Portneuf Valley Dental. Scheduling appointments is easy, I can get same day work done, and my experience here has been nothing but positive for as long as they have been open.

Dr Stoddard put an implant in my front tooth and was very explanatory about the process it turned out just like he had explained no complaints wonderful to have a tooth his staff was there to make me comfortable nurse was informative and helpful the process took some time but well worth it thank you and your staff so much

Dr. Tanner Higham, DMD and Dr. McKaid Sheppard, DDS are passionate about helping families with all of their dental needs. They utilize the most modern technology to help provide patients with the care and comfort they deserve. Tanner received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in April 2019 graduating at the top of his class. Since graduating from dental school, he has received additional training in implants, surgery, sleep apnea, and cosmetic dentistry. McKaid attended dental school at Creighton University School of Dentistry where he graduated in 2020 in the top of his class. He was awarded the Hanau Excellence in Prosthodontics Award and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Society.
