I'm from out of town and was visiting family when my little wing man Buddy the adventure mutt, a 16 lb poodle mix had an issue that was concerning to me. I was elated that we able to get a same day appointment. The entire staff was friendly and made Buddy and I feel right at home. Our veterinarian was Dr Alicia Ewing. Dr Ewing was very knowledgeable taking the time to explaining Buddy's condition and what the corrective action would be. Within a few days Buddy was back to normal, fully healed and off looking for his next adventure. :-) Many thanks to Dr Ewing and the rest of the staff. Highly recommended.

I really like the people here, so kind and empathetic. These people are animal lovers and you can really tell. I know the majority of them do the job because of their love of animals, not for the money. Vets and Vet Techs have a very high risk of depression and suicide. One of my friends is a vet tech for a major animal hospital in California, she sends me many articles on the subject. It's sad. And Vet's often get a bad rap due to their rising costs, they need to offset the cost of insurance much of it due to protect themselves from being sued. Kind caring staff. With great sadness we had to have our lovely elderly dog put down. It was a difficult decision for us, as we loved this dog and she was a member of our family for 13 years. Staff were all respectful, kind and gentle with us and our sweet girl. Yesterday I received a sympathy card from Snake River staff, I'd say that is above and beyond what is expected of an animal hospital that we had never used before. Thank you SR for your kindness.
