I went in for my long awaited lip filler appointment after receiving some really difficult personal news the night before. When Sarah asked how I was doing, I tried to hold it together, but I got a little emotional and embarrassed. She immediately sat beside me, comforted me, and made me feel genuinely cared for.

Instead of adding more stress to my body with needles, she thoughtfully suggested we reschedule my appointment for a couple weeks later. I felt awful for taking up an appointment slot without actually going through with the treatment, but she reassured me multiple times that it was absolutely no problem and that my wellbeing mattered most.
