Reviews
I have had chronic pain in my shoulder going on about 13 years and a recent lower back injury after having my 4th child. After years of x-rays, physical therapy and being told surgery was my only option, I found Shirley. She uses massage techniques i never previously knew were an option for treatment. I left feeling amazing for the first time in years and free of my chronic pain. I cannot wait to go back, as she is very kind and you can tell she is so passionate and caring about her work.
I am so very happy I found Shirley, my goodness. Usually I only invest in massages when I have hurt myself, but this time it was purely to treat myself. I have a bad back and some screwed up hips and Shirley was an absolute gem. I am telling you. She is a MIRACLE!
When you enter her establishment, it smells refreshing, there is a big photo of a window looking at the sea and some of the best spa music. She poured me a glass of water and we sat and discussed all the ways she was going to work on my body. She is a holistic soul and believes more in the nature of how everything in the body works and it shows in the way that she massages you. I wanted to do 30 minutes but I am so happy we did like, 80 minutes. I got all cozied in her warm bed and I am telling you she focused on every part of my body because that is what we talked about.
She almost seemed like magic because she was able to relieve kinks of stress I did not even realize that I had. She has hands of gold and knows exactly what she is doing. As mom's we don't focus on preventative care as a form of self care and this was pure self care. It was a mental, physical, and emotional session of stress relief and I am so dang thankful.
