We cannot say enough positive things about this eye therapy program. It has been life changing. Reading is now smoother and less frustrating, and comprehension of classroom materials has improved dramatically. The difference in confidence and stamina with schoolwork is noticeable every day. The team is knowledgeable, supportive, and truly invested in their patients’ success. We even saw improvements in athletics. Highly recommend to any family navigating reading or other vision challenges.

Idaho Vision Developement Center was a huge help with my son, who had binocular vision issues (regular eye doctors had missed!).
In 4th grade, he still wasn't reading independently and not for lack of trying. He met with his therapist weekly for close to a year, seeing the doctor every 8 weeks for progress updates. Everyone was always so positive and encouraging; it was a really great experience for him. His confidence grew drastically as he began to see gains in coordination and reading skills.

We are very impressed by Dr. Nielson and the amazing staff at Idaho Vision Development Center. We always felt welcomed and cared for. We started going because our daughter was having a hard time reading. She kept skipping words and reversing letters. Her therapist, Serena, was so encouraging and amazing. Our daughter had a lot of fun with the activities in the office. The at-home activities took a lot of effort and we couldn’t always see how they were going to help, but in the end proved very effective. Her reading has improved greatly since doing vision therapy!
