    I have struggled since breaking an ankle eight years ago. I initially came to Rolfing Iowa to see if the inward misalignment of my knee resulting from the ankle injury could be helped without surgery. The result of just few sessions of treatment resulted in an improved gait, more stamina when walking, less knee pain, better leg and hip alignment and reduced nighttime cramping. It was amazing and continues to be improved with some maintenance.

    If you suffer from chronic pain you are going to want to read this. I was in a car accident several years ago and suffered from some some pretty serious whiplash. I have had crazy tight should/nuck muscles resulting in limited mobility in my neck, causing daily headaches and some self diagnosed insanity. I have been doing bi-weekly massages for a few years that havent really given any permanant relief. Well a good friend/massage therapist recommended I try rolfing. Well i will try anything at this point. After my 1st session i could turn my neck far enough to check my blind spots in my car without moving my whole upper body.     Results last longer than many other bodywork modalities. Increases body awareness, changes old patterns of compensation or weakness. Worth it to commit to a series of treatments - and than assess about follow-up/repeat visits
