I was considering leaf covers for my nearly 30year-old , 5 inch gutters. I thought the overflows and leaks were because of leaves and debris. A gutter cover company quoted nearly $6,000 for filters and I would still have very old, 5 inch gutters. Allstate pointed out that the old gutters just could not handle the recent heavy rains we had. For a little more than 1/2 the cost of my filter quote, I received all brand new gutters and downspouts and the color even matched my old gutters.
