Dr. Hangartner and her staff at Modern Eye Care were wonderful. I had seen a video they had posted on FB talking about a new lens they were offering. Everything she said seemed to apply to me, so I decided it was worth a trip to Washington Iowa for my next exam. She explained the Neurolenses and showed me the test they ran to prove how my eyes really didn’t work together to focus. Showed me how eyes were supposed to focus and how mine were focusing. She thoroughly explained the benefits of having my new glasses made with Neurolenses. I decided to give them a try! I got my new glasses a week ago and cannot believe the difference! I have suffered for quite some time with daily headaches and shoulder stiffness. With the Neurolenses I can truthfully say that I have not had a headache since I started wearing them and can start to feel the difference in my shoulders. I also suffered with dry, itchy eyes by the end of the day. That has improved to the point that I rarely need the eye drops I couldn’t do without. I noticed a difference immediately when I started wearing my new glasses. Things were a bit sharper. The first day I could noticeably feel my eyes readjust when I would go from looking down to looking straight ahead or change my sight line at all. I got used to it after a day and don’t even notice it any more. I drove at night last night for the first time with my new glasses. The halo-like blur that was always around lights has very much diminished. It’s not gone, but not so distracting. I would definitely recommend Neurolenses and Modern Eye Care in Washington, Iowa.
