My eye suddenly started hurting, was red and light sensitive one day. I called Korver’s to get it examined. They told me to go to urgent care instead. I went to urgent care and was given drops for an infection. After a couple of days vision in that eye started getting blurry. A couple more days and it had not gotten any better. Urgent care told me to go see an optometrist as they were unable to diagnose further. Dr. Lefeber in Sergeant Bluff was able to work me in in between appointments. Turns out I have uveitis, inflammation inside of my eye. This place refused to release my daughters prescription and held it hostage until after insurance paid their portion. (only place in town that does that) They also stated that I could get same day frames through them the couple times I called them. They were salty because we were going to order her glasses/frames online. They also refused to measure my daughters pupil distance. We will not be going back to this place.

Korver eye care is absolutely the best ophthalmologist in the Siouxland area. Dr. Broderson is very professional, and knowledgeable. The office staff is AMAZING and went absolutely above and beyond to help me get my 1 year old daughter in good frames, and gave me amazing advice on the best lenses possible for her high prescription. I am overly impressed with them, as they were extremely patient, and helpful. (With her, and myself). Can I give 10 stars? :)
