I knew very little about weddings and photoshoots etc. when I first hired Mike. I had done one mini photoshoot with him before and thought he was great to work with. I signed on with him pretty last minute and I had fears that he would not have enough time to prepare, but that was not the case at all. He jumped right into sending us information immediately. He had a booklet with tips and tricks that covered pretty much any question you could have. And he was always available for questions if he wasn’t answering them before I could even ask. My husband was extremely nervous when we showed up for the engagement shoot, but Mike had ideas to loosen the tension and make for great photos. For the wedding, he hired a second photographer and I was very impressed with both of them. They had a plan of what to shoot first, so that I could get the most photos for my money. He would often ask if they were getting enough footage or capturing the right moments, to make sure that I was going to be happy with the results. My wedding was gothic/horror themed and the location was an old farm so it had a unique feel. He was not afraid to take on the challenge and knew how to give that gothic touch to the photos. He was actually super excited by the theme, which made me more confident in going that direction. I don’t know what I was expecting to see, but the photo results were better than I could have imagined. It felt like the wedding day was a fairytale. I didn’t see all the stress I went through that day, I just saw all the love and happiness. I rarely like how I look in photos but I felt beautiful in these. I’ll treasure these photos forever. Mike did our engagement and wedding photos!! We just received the gallery from our wedding and let me just say, AH-MAZING work!!! He captured things I would have never even thought of and I’m so glad he did!! He seriously went above and beyond during the whole process!
