I am owner and CEO of Vande Berg Scales. I believe you should know a little about our history as opposed to an uninformed glimpse.
This business has been a delicate balance of life. I am honored to have been charged with the responsibility of leading the business since 2001 when I purchased it from my parents. Ever since my earliest days, witnessing my parents do what I now do, I have seen the highs and lows.
My parents started Vande Berg Scales (VBS) in 1964. At first, they serviced scales on the family’s dining room table. My childhood living space was inseparably intertwined with business. Employees bustled through our home and lives.

My name is Jeff Gross and I've been General Manager of Vande Berg Scales since 1999. It did not take long for me to realize that this company is very customer service oriented. Our customers come to us to help them solve their problems. Many times our relationship with our customers seems to be more of a partnership than a typical supplier/buyer type of relationship. Our sales and engineering departments work closely with our customers to come up with what both parties feel is the best solutions to their problems.
