I've been taking my furbabies to Keokuk County Vet Clinic in Richland for about 6 or 7 years. My animals and myself have been treated with lots of respect and love. All the staff there are nothing short of amazing human beings. I trust their opinions, findings, and knowledge 100%! A little story as to why I think this..... Back in 2021 (I may have the year wrong but it was around that year) that I had a bigger male dog (Marshall). He was technically my son's dog who had just moved out and moved to a town one and half hour away. He could not keep his dog due to the the rules and regulations of owning a pitbull. So I kept Marshall with me. We had him since the day he was born. One night I knew something was wrong. It was around 12:30AM when I called the emergency line. She met me at the vet clinic right way (I'm 30 minutes away from the clinic) the findings were not what any pet owner wants to hear. Considering Marshall was a very big part in my son's life, and walked beside my son through some very hard times. I asked if it was possible if I could have my son come say goodbye to his companion. She did! She waited, kept Marshall and I comfortable while we waited for my son to get there as fast as he could. She didn't have to, especially that early in the morning. I will ALWAYS remember and be thankful for that!!! Im positive that anyone there would do the same if they could. As long as I'm alive and have furbabies, I will ALWAYS take them there!
