It has been a great pleasure working with Jim Barton Construction from start to finish on our project! After 2.5 years trying to find someone to complete repair/replacement work on our foundation, I learned of their service through a newspaper ad and reached out. Ryan responded to me immediately and was there to complete a full estimate the next day. We had JBC pour our garage approach, a couple of patios and some sidewalks at our house. Everything turned out as planned and looks great. We will definitely have them back anytime we need some concrete work completed.
JBC did an excellent job replacing our west basement wall to our specifications. We live in a 2-story house built in 1920 and the west basement wall was made of old ceramic blocks that had cracks and was bending inward and looking like it would collapse soon, even though it had been braced with steel I-beams at some point. When it rained a lot, the water would flow through the wall like a waterfall, because the grade from the west is higher than on the east side of our lot.
We had a structural inspector evaluate the wall and he recommended replacement with an 8" thick poured wall 6' high and topped with 2 rows of cement block. Not an all-cement-block wall because it...read full review
