Absolutely adorable small town store. Rare finds, antiques and nostalgia. Extremely friendly and welcoming. Nicole is super sweet and helpful. Even if you are just traveling by the area, I suggest you exit the highway and stop here. Great prices and she even wrapped up the breakables. The rest of the town and the locals will not disappoint either.

Nicole's Novel Goods in Monticello, IA - The shop owners, Nicole and her husband, work very hard to please each customer. Nicole's Novel Goods have very high quality collectibles. The store is clean and not over cluttered, and easy to shop. I ALWAYS find something I "need" there! Their selection is AMAZING!!! Their layaway service is very customer-friendly. They are very friendly people. Have a drink and a FANTASTIC meal at "Market at the Tap" next door, then come over and enjoy shopping at Nicole's Novel Goods. You will have a great time!!
