This was my vary 1st retreat for mindfulness and disconnecting from the hustle of daily life .the owners are some of the best people I have met since starting meditation 9 months ago. Michelle and Curtis are now my friends for life we connected in ways I never imagined would happen. The things I learned and the yoga,meditation,art class the food. p.s THE COOKIES 🍪 WERE TO DIE FOR 😋. If you want too experience calm and mindfulness and 2 of the coolest people you can ever find to be down to earth 🌎 this is the place. Just open your mind and go with the flow be open to peace. Everything about our trip to Lansing and staying in the Dharma House (Bella) exceeded our expectations. My BF and I wanted to get away for a few days and had considered a Wellness retreat in Arizona, we didn't have a lot of time and did some research and found Michelle/LSCO/Dharma House and Lansing. I contacted Michelle and she planned a wellness retreat for us over the 3 nights and 4 days we stayed there. We would plan a spa/wellness session with her each day and then spend the day exploring NE Iowa. We climbed Mount Hosner, kayaked the Mississippi, did yoga, got coffee every morning at Coffee on the River and visited the downtown shops. This whole trip was so easy,...read full review
