I cannot speak highly enough about the operation run by Penny & Joel, nor about the quality of the puppy we received from them.
After hitting some red flags with another operation more local (in MN) and pulling out, I expanded my search criteria into Iowa and came across CaveInn. Penny was wonderfully responsive to all my emailed/texted/called questions, and they invited us to their property to see their operation (which is part of their home, wonderfully clean, and very personalized). Finding CaveInn was one of the best things to happen to our family. I simply cannot imagine our life without our perfect boy, Walter. Penny and Joel were amazing throughout the entire process and made everything easy, smooth and fun. They were extremely thorough and communicative, sending us pictures and updates up until the day we picked our boy up. Our dog is healthy, very well tempered, playful, great with other dogs and beautiful! Truly everything I dreamed for in a dog!!! We will be back to CaveInn to get him a sibling in a few years. Great people, great operation. We visited our future puppy twice and both times we had a lovely experience with Penny and Joel! They were super patient with my two little kids visiting.
We love our well tempered yellow lab! He's great with all ages and especially children. Our CaveInn Lab is good natured and easily trainable.
