David Erlbacher, MD is a primary care physician who practices in Harlan and also holds satellite clinics in Avoca and Earling. He is a caring and knowledgeable doctor that takes time to explain what is going on and how treatment will work. Dr. Erlbacher is known for taking the time to listen to his patients, often going beyond scheduled appointments to ensure all concerns are addressed. He goes above and beyond to help with care plans. Dr. Erlbacher treats patients as though they are one of his family. He goes beyond the physical condition and realizes that there is more to health than just the physical. His patients feel that he cares for them and trust him to provide excellent medical care.
Dr. Erlbacher is caring and knowledgeable doctor that takes time to explain what is going and how treatment will work. I no longer live in the area, but I still travel to the area so I can see him.
This was my first visit with Dr Erlbacher as my new primary care physician. I was scheduled for 20 minutes but we talked for 90 minutes. It was a terrific conversation because we discussed both my health issues and things going on in my life that impact my health. Dr Erlbacher showed a genuine interest in ALL my issues.
Sat with my dad during a follow up visit. My dad loves the one on one conversations with Dr. Erlbacher, and feels comfortable with him, he can say what ever he want, and Dr. Erlbacher will listen and take him seriously. It feels to me as though Dr. Erlbacher is talking to and taking care of my dad as if he was his own father. He cares about my dad, and I feel my dad is in good hands with his doctor. My family appreciates having Dr. Erlbacher's knowledge and wisdom, and are grateful to have him watching over and taking care of my dad.
