Thank you for being here! Stopped into both flower shops on my visit to Grinnell yesterday. Very obvious difference. Not only is this place very affordable, but it’s clear that the owner knows trends and what’s popular. Thank you for having cute stuff that’s not out-of-style or out of anyone’s price range! No outdated baskets or fake flowers here! I’m so glad I came into the shop- my friend loved the flowers I picked out for her and knew right away where they came from, commenting that there’s a huge difference and said anyone who knows anything always goes to Bates.

I found several things here for a new baby in the family, and got a great arrangement Stephanie made for us on a moment's notice. Excellent service, no pressure, and she recommended a great lunch spot and some other shops in the area she said we'd want to stop at. Such a fun place to visit, and I will be back next week to grab some of their cute planters and little succulents!

The best flower/gift shop in this area!! It is my go to shop in Grinnell for gifts, candles, flowers, plants, and much more. Plus the owner always helps my son find the perfect gifts for me every holiday. On top of that they have the very best chocolates you can find!
