New to the area and newly retired, I attended my first meeting at the Glenwood American Legion. Everyone was pretty friendly and I was quickly joined up. In fact, I was so impressed, I joined my husband, whom is still on active duty. This American Legion seems to really embrace the community and community activities. I hope I can be a contributing member and encourage other vets to join this great organization.

A free will donation supper is served buffet style at 1830 and both meetings start at 1930. The Legion Riders meet on last Wednesday of each month with the meeting starting at 1830.
