We are a collaboration of small businesses who came together to create a space for families to find education, support, self-care and community. At {M}otherhood Matters, you will find a variety of resources/services, along with an extensive referral network that nurture people’s most authentic self through health and wellness. Our dream is to have families truly embrace the adage “It takes a village.” as we support one another through all of the celebrations and struggles that life brings. We hope to allow a safe space for us to come together as a collective and offer the things we have available to give while we receive the things we are in need of. Motherhood Matters is LGBTQ+ friendly and a transgender safe place!

Motherhood Matters is a collaborative space that provides a range of resources and services to support families on their parenting journey. They offer education, self-care, and a nurturing community to help people embrace the "it takes a village" mindset. The center is LGBTQ+ friendly and a transgender-safe place. Working with Dr. Sara Rausch, a holistic provider at Motherhood Matters, has been transformative for one client. Dr. Sara takes a personalized approach, addressing the whole person through chiropractic care, kinesiology taping, nutrition, and supplements. She listens deeply, asks thoughtful questions, and gently pushes the client outside their comfort zone with encouragement and compassion. Another client sought help from Gingerly Mama at Motherhood Matters when she was struggling with breastfeeding after the birth of her first child. Within four weeks, with the guidance and support of Gingerly Mama and other specialists, the client and her baby were able to make significant progress, leading to a successful and thriving breastfeeding experience. The client is grateful for Gingerly Mama's kindness, knowledge, and dedication to helping mothers have a positive breastfeeding journey. Motherhood Matters has also been an incredible resource during pregnancy for another client, who worked with a supportive and intentional doula named Susan. The client was also impressed by the wonderful prenatal massage services provided by Amber. Overall, Motherhood Matters is praised for its holistic, personalized approach to supporting families through all stages of parenthood, creating a safe and nurturing community.
