“I cannot say enough good things about this home-away-from-home for your dog! I don't have grandkids. I have granddogs---and I love them like crazy! My son and his wife got Daisy a few months ago. She had been through a lot, and had a lot of anxiety. They adopted her at the beginning of shelter-in-place during the pandemic. This was great, because it helped Daisy to spend lots of time with her pack (and extended pack!). They are both back to work and faced a huge decision--leave her home alone (which she didn't tolerate well at all) or consider a doggy day care option. We found Bounding Hounds and I can unequivocally say that you can't find a better place for your dog. They are all incredibly knowledgeable and they care about YOUR dog. The owner, Loren, is incredible. After her second day, he spent time talking to us about how to work with her at home to reinforce some of what they have been doing with her. I am a psychologist--his recommendations were so spot on. Here is the kicker--remember, this dog is a "nervous Nellie"--when we dropped her off, as soon as they opened the gate, she SPRINTED off and never looked back! She was so happy to see us--but at the same time, tried to follow Loren back inside. The fact that she is so happy there speaks VOLUMES to me. Finding a place for your dog is like taking your child to daycare---it is so hard to do. Talk to them. These guys are incredible. You won't regret it!“

“The place is clean and people are friendly and caring. I have a difficult dog with nails and they are always kind and work to make the dog feel comfortable. I also noticed that they take time and gentle with other dogs and cats when brushing and cutting. They are really paying attention to the animal in front of them instead of chatting as they are pulling on the dog’s hair. I’ve seen some places being rough with dogs when the dog is clearly pretty uncomfortable; here I always hear gentle voices.“
