If I could give you 10 stars, I would. Been in the area two years and have tried other veterinarians in the Quad Cities to establish care with... it hasn't gone well. Maplewood came as a recommendation from a co-worker; and, they have surpassed my hopes. My dog was totally at ease and had a great time with all the staff members and the Doctor. Facility is clean and tidy and very welcoming. Thank you for all you do and the efforts you make to be above the rest.... See you next time! :)
We live in Iowa City and when our senior dog broke his leg, we had to seek out lots of options and places to see about his care and what comes next. While searching other surgeons in Eastern Iowa we got some great feedback from other places from records we sent, but we were able to get a consult in person very quickly, and the consult we had with the staff and Dr. Nelson was everything we needed to help us navigate the next steps for our 11 year old shepherd.
Just moved to the area and was seeking a new vet; couldn’t be happier with the level of service and care I received for my two cats! We did full work ups including vaccines, urinalysis, bloodwork, x-rays, and exams. Our technician Crystal was absolutely amazing and I’m so grateful we had her support since one of the cats can be pretty spicy. Dr. Matt was great, extremely calming, knowledgeable, and thorough on next steps for my cat’s care. The staff at reception is also awesome with how they handle follow ups and their transparency on costs.
