“When I accepted the position at Visiting Angels it was a complete career change for me, I knew that caring for human beings came natural to me so I decided to give it a try. I had attended nursing school several years prior although I did not finish do to a family health crisis. When things calm down and I returned to the workforce I accepted a corporate position. Even though I was an essential part of the day today operations I wasn't happy or fulfilled. I started with Visiting Angels about a year before the COVID epidemic, and I continue to be employed with Visiting Angels to this day. From caregivers point of view this job is one of the most challenging yet rewarding things I have ever been a part of! I have been blessed with the opportunity to care for the same clients for years. I always pass my thoughts an the mindset that I have about being a caregiver. NOTHING is more important than a human life! Take care of the client as if they were a member of your own family!
