July 6 One year ago, June 29, 2024, I had to make a decision I knew nothing about. I had to choose someone to take care of my husband for all of his after needs. Enter Chaz Mezick. He came into our home where he found a distraught wife and crying family. I can’t tell you what was all said that day, my memory won’t allow it. But I can tell you, I remember seeing understanding eyes and a heartfelt smile from Chaz. From the second he walked into our home he was nothing but professional. Not the strict uptight professionalism but the kind that is caring n has heart. The kind that offers helping hands in our time of need. Chaz n Candace let us know that if we wanted or needed anything, all we had to do was call. They took care of everything and walked me through the process. They set up the military honors, personalized the program, helped with the luncheon and so much more. They carried the light in my darkest hour. They let me cry, answered questions and clarified everything. Still, one year later, they offer their friendship n kindness. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to take care of my husband and our needs.
