Did some line work song lyrics from my favorite artist, and then someone dear to me later. She remembered months in-between about my favorite artist, and put that music on during my next session??? Incredible!! Her work is beautiful and unmatched! I prefer minimalistic style, and even though her main is super realistic, she did the minimalistic ones perfectly! She didn’t start on either tattoo until she knew I was perfectly happy with each one, and made little tweaks here and there day of, to make sure I was happy. The actual tattoo office is beautiful, clean, homy, and comfy. Super relaxing sitting looking out the window at the rail going by while getting tattooed. I got my 2nd piece by Lorrin done today, whom has now done my Honu & my Kohala--my turtle & humpback whale tail. UPSTANDING, humble guy who is really warm and friendly, on top of being a patient, steady handed tattoo artist. He's honed his craft for sure. The shop is SUPER open, in every way. You walk in and are instantly seen and greeted, whether at the counter or from across the shop by the artists. They're always playing some bangers on the radio, so everyone can settle in and relax off the bat, and they all offer a varying skillset and personality. “Had the best experience at Monarch! (Looked online like everyone else) Made my appointment about a month before my vacation. Called when I got to the island to confirm and spoke with Mikey, the artist doing my piece, my confidence increased hearing his chill vibe on the phone. Upon arrival I was greeted by the shop pup Shaba! Mikey had my art drafted and it was perfect! Our conversation was calm yet insightful, an all around great experience was had! “Came in to purchase a barbell and I was greeted by Jack. Such a great guy! I told him what I was looking for and he knew exactly where it was and the size I needed! (Previous to coming to this shop, I was in another shop down the road and it took them over 5mins to find the barbell and unfortunately it wasn’t what I was looking for.)

“I wanted to get a tattoo of the Linkin Park symbol because their music has been getting me through tough times. I have always been a fan of them since Hybrid theory the album. Anyway, I was seen by Rich who is an amazing artist that brought my tattoo to justice lol He did everything by the book and even explained the process since it's been a long time since I had my first one. He was nice and I had to fill out a form waiver. There was a television playing movies and it was loud enough for you to hear. The instruments are now quiet and don't buzz like before as I remembered them. The inside was sterilized to make sure that there's no contamination. Located on the second floor upstairs. There's plenty of parking available. I would definitely come back if I wanted another tattoo done. Highly recommend. By the way, Rich told me they may move locations soon because the property is privately owned by a company.“

“Love that Andre works within your budget. Me, my wife and sis in law have gone to him and Aaron twice over the last couple years. Aaron has done memorial pieces for our mothers using the handwritten letters our families left for us. Andre does some of the best and original Polynesian tribal ink work I've ever seen. Place is a pain getting too due to construction on the main road but that's just Hawaii living.“
