I did not fit my wedding dress at our first appointment and she was very nice but honest about my options. She recommended that I played it safe and add a laced back with extra fabric from shortening the dress. Yee Mei reassured me that if I did not like it, it would be very easy to take out. At our second appointment we tried on the dress with the new alterations and it fit very well. I loved how it looked so we kept it as is. Yee Mei also added a bustle and made sure my slit was not too short. My fiancé at the time also came to the appointment to make sure his suit didn't need any alterations. Yee Mei said it fit him perfectly and sent him on his way. She was very detailed at our appointment and ensured everything would look perfect for pick up at our 3rd appointment. We had my bridesmaids come with me at our last appointment so she could teach her how to properly lace my dress. Everything went very well and she was so funny and super sweet. You can count on Yee Mei for being honest about your alterations and what she can and can't do. I would much rather her be honest with me then not look good or fit the day of.
