About Lāʻie Shopping Center
Lāʻie Shopping Center is a convenient place with various options, including a grocery store, restaurants, and services like a clinic and bank. It's a cozy spot for tourists and locals, but note that it's closed on Sundays. The shopping center can be busy, with limited parking, and some locals may be aggressive. The center has a restaurant that serves meat burgers and offers a vegan option called the country sandwich, which swaps the meat patty for a pineapple patty. The sandwiches are tall and filled with plenty of ingredients, and the staff are friendly. Customers have mentioned that the vegetarian items can be made vegan by omitting the sauce, but there are no menu vegan items. The restaurant's attention to detail is appreciated, and the restroom facilities are very well maintained. Visitors often find it worth the drive, especially for the kind people and the good food.
Their Keep the Country, Country sandwich is TALL!! They do not skimp on the fillings. Minus one star only Because there are no menu vegan items (but their vegetarian items can be made vegan by omitting the sauce) Definitely gonna take a food coma after this sandwich lol
We bought our groceries there. They had nice papayas at good prices so we bought them every day to eat. They also had ? cottage cheese which my husband loves. It's a nice store.
They serve meat burgers but have a vegan option, the country sandwich. They swap the meat paddie for a pineapple paddie. It was delicious. Unfortunately, when I ordered the vegan version it came with cheese so they had to re-do it. Make sure to say no cheese when ordering. The burger was absolutely delicious though and the staff was super friendly:)
