Dr Murakami is professional, kind, knowledgeable, and affordable. His office is located in central Lahaina town, and the exam room is always clean. Waaay more affordable than West Maui Vet, also way more personal. Dr. Murakami is a one-man show, so you have to call and leave a voice message, but he always calls back. You also have to help hold your animal down in the exam room and be his assistant, but I have no problem doing this is if means keeping costs down. I actually kind of enjoy this because I know exactly what's happening to my animal during the exam and why. Anyway, come here if you want to support a small local business, and not a mainland based company like West Maui Vet.

We took our newly acquired 7 1/2 week old puppy for first check up and vaccinations. They were prompt and very informative. Because of COVID-19 they took the puppy in by herself. Upon her return she seemed happy!

Brought two puppies in for shots and checkups after they were abandoned. The doctor was so informative and straightforward! You can tell he truly cares about the health of the animals! The actual work took about 30 minutes but he spent another 30 making sure i knew about specific risks such as parvo and heartworm, and how to manage them!
