We were not strangers to Maui when we arrived in the fall of 2015: we had done a lot of research before making this trip to purchase a condominium. We knew from the internet that a two bedroom unit, truly on the water, would be tiny...and probably cost a fortune. We started by wandering into Open Houses, and sure enough, someone scooped us up and we almost got stuck with a 900sf condo, overlooking a busy pool, with a so-so ocean view, and a frightening price!! We escaped! That escape was managed by virtue of our good fortune in encountering Tim O'Conner. Still wandering, we stumbled into an Open House he was holding on a two bedroom, two bath corner unit condo so ocean-front that, from its upper floor, the blue from every window made our eyes ache! My first words were "I could live here!".....and we were only looking for a rental property. Unfortunately, the condo turned out to be a fractional with only two of the four fractions on the market. This didn't deter Mr. O'Connor in the slightest. In ways we will never understand, he talked the non-sellers into selling, the sellers into negotiating, and us into a dream of a condo! Seventy feet from the water's edge, for far less than the price of our near escape, and twice as large, we not only found the impossible, but made a friend in the bargain! Tim O'Connor is tireless in his energy, brilliant in his knowledge of the real estate industry, and unparalleled in his ability to make impossible dreams come true. I'd recommend others actually go to Berkshire Hathaway and ask for Tim O'Conner....don't leave it to dumb blind luck!
