I don't normally go out of my way to write reviews unless I feel it's important, and this business definitely deserves it. Roxie and her husband Al are some of the nicest people that I've met on the island. They are so good with my dog and I can tell that they actually care. I can also tell Roxie is very knowledgeable about dogs and I love how she shares tips with me. My dog Lucas has very sensitive skin with hot spots that appear in different places and I really appreciate the kindness and careful attention that they give him and love how they bring it to my attention if they found something on his skin once his grooming is complete. I've a poodle for a service dog and as such she requires monthly grooming.Roxie is the third place I've brought my poodle to.The others were good, don't get me wrong, but Roxie is half the cost and Lilly looks great when she is done. I'm not looking for show quality just functionality with a bit of that poodle style.We also bring our Airedale Shephard to Roxie about every 60 to 90 days. Gigi gets a sheer cut and has her face cleaned up.My only concern is what we are going to do if Roxie retires.
