Dr Stuart Machida has always been amazing in his care, knowledge, patience, determination, and thoroughness. He takes the time to explain everything. This gives me the understanding necessary to follow through with required treatments and note any regression or progress. He has so thoroughly examined my 103 yr old mother that he has discovered problems that a year of appointments with an ophthalmologist failed to uncover and therefore failed to properly treat, prevent further damage, and/or resolve. Been seeing Dr. Machida since I was 12 years old and he is one of the most knowledgable optometrists I've ever met. Very down to earth and always has an answer to my questions. I would absolutely recommend him and his team to anyone looking for an eye doctor in the Windward area. I live in Mililani now and I still go to him!
