Kauai Veterans Cemetery is a small but well maintained and peaceful resting place. It is the only state veterans cemetery on the island. The site honors those who served, including veterans from several wars. It is respectfully manicured with additions like columbarium niches. This important site allows for contemplation of selfless sacrifice and service. Available amenities include trash bins and water spigots.
Such a nice and well keep Veterans cemetery. Everything is manicured and kept after and you can tell they’re making many additions with cremation niches and above ground columbarium. A really nice benefit for the local veterans that have served this great country!
Small but respectfully well maintained resting place for those who served in the defense of our nation and the freedoms it represents. Such freedoms are today sadly under attack by a plethora of "enemies both foreign and domestic " (if you recognize the quote then you understand). Peaceful, contemplative. The only state veterans cemetery on the island of Kaua'i. Available trash bins and water spigots. The size is a fraction of the Punchbowl and yet serves as a reminder that even in the farthest islands you can find evidence of selfless sacrifice and service. Several 442 vets buried here as well as many WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Cold War vets. Mahalo for reading my review. In requiscat pacem.
