My family and I chose Chris and his crew to do some interior and exterior fixes around our house and we are glad we chose them! They came every morning on time and sometimes stayed later than expected to finish some little "here and there" touch ups! They filled all expectations regarding our renovation and they were very fun and friendly to work with! I'd choose them again if I need something done again! “I comissioned Eric to build a dry bar in my front room. I submitted initial drawings of what I wanted, he came out for a consultation and within a week came back with his concept. After some collaboration we settled on a design. I was able to find a source for the lights and he was amicable to use my selected product. The drawers are expertly done, all soft close, and the end cabinet doors swing up to account for the lounge chairs when they arrive. The entire bar is solid mahogany. I don't think anyone else on Oahu would be able to produce this level of craftsmanship. It measures 10 ft tall. The light control is remote as it shares an outlet with the wine fridge. As far as the negative reviews posted you will need to have patience and flexibility. Eric will be late to his own funeral one day.“

“Two complete bathroom renovations: The crew from WL Construction, led by Howard (English speaker) were fast, professional and did great work!! The project was expected to take two weeks and we were pleasantly surprised with a 9-day turnaround from demolition to shower doors and trimming. “I am a project manager for a large restoration company and I have been using Custom Countertops for years now. I am always pleased with their attention to detail, quality of their products, quick turn around, and workmanship. Lynn and Willie are the best at what they do and I will be sad when they decide to retire. They make my job dealing with these old laminate countertops so much easier and there expertise and knowledge of this particular trade is a dying breed. I highly recommend using them if you are looking for a custom laminate or corian countertop.“

“Fantastic people to work with and have used them since April 2021, after an unpleasant experience with another contractor, to March 2023. As my parents were in the way upper 80s, we needed to plan ahead and renovate to make the home elderly friendly. Grab bars everywhere, unobstructed walk-in showers, bathroom and bedroom doors wheelchair compliant and turn the family room into a downstairs bedroom. Maikai Cabinets helped us to keep the cost down and yet have quality materials, craftsmanship, and customer service. We're happy that the house is fully upgraded but sad we won't be working with Makai Cabinets for another 20-years to refresh the home. We wish you all the best and success and we will continue to recommend you to our family and friends. Thanks for the wonderful experience. “Kudos to Ringo and his team at Essential Cabinets for truly upgrading and modernizing our kitchen! We chose a lightly speckled gray for our cabinet resurfacing, which we think was a choice they would normally not have recommended... but their collective voice simply supported the changes we wanted to have made and they followed through. We love it! (We have a fairly large kitchen, and must add that we had a bigger picture in mind of what we wanted it to look like by putting in backsplashes by ourselves that pulled in the colors of our granite counters and floors with the new cabinets after the job was completed to give the kitchen an artistic touch.) We had great rapport with the installers, and Ringo's advice and continuous, open communication channels were always open certainly made the upheaval during the job a pleasant one. Would recommend them in a heartbeat!“
