Water heater decided to spring a leak. Used Yelp to send out some requests, and Aloha Aina was the first to respond. My favorite part of these guys is how honest and transparent they are about their services. They asked me for pics and a video, and they were able to provide a rough estimate over Yelp messaging. I discovered the leak at about 10:30 PM on a Sunday night. By 10:30 Monday morning, I had an appointment with Albert. By 12:00 NOON my water heater was fixed! Awwwwrite ! Mahalo to Albert and Keiko. I wanted to change the water heater in my condo because we had a required water heater check. Mine was still functioning well, but I decided to change it because it was the original when I purchased the condo new, and I wanted to avoid a problem in the future. I researched different companies and was pleasantly surprised that many had very good Yelp ratings. I selected three with good ratings and called all three to get estimates. Aloha Aina was the second one I called, and the quoted price was $100 less than the first one I called. Aloha Aina quoted me a price but also said that if I get a lower quote, I should give them a return call, and they will see if they can match the quote. The third company did get back to me, but it took them so long that I decided not to go with them because they did not respond in an acceptable amount of time. So, I went with Aloha Aina because of its perfect five ratings. I am giving them a "5 rating" because they had the best price, a quick response, and everything went smoothly. This is something that I found extra special. I was waiting for a call on the day of the appointment because I had arranged with the condo management to reserve one of the elevators, and I needed to go down and meet the technician to use the elevator. I had a knock on the door, and the technician was standing outside the door with the new water heater, all the tools, and all the supplies. He came in efficiently, changed the water heater, answered my questions, took the old heater out, and was gone in a relatively short time. My experience with Aloha Aina was as good as it could be. I am glad to include a review that will keep Aloh Aina with perfect Yelp ratings.
Had a great experience with Keiko and Albert. They were very professional and responsive to my stressful situation. Albert was able to come out to investigate a suspected leak the day I called and was quick and informative. He explained the issue and we talked through the plan to fix the leak. Thankfully he was also able to fix the leak the same week in just one day. I would definitely hire Aloha Aina Plumbing for future needs.
