My old barber in Jefferson used to charge $20 for seniors until he got fancy, required appointments, and started charging $35 for a haircut that included a mandatory shampoo. I just wanted an old time haircut and always wash my hair before going. So I discovered the Mayfield Camp shop, which has been operating since 1937. The barber, who I think inherited the place from his father, does things quickly, cheaply, and with a minimum of fuss.
