The hospital's staff is kind, loving, and supportive, making it a trusted and reliable choice for pet owners. They provide thorough and reasonably-priced services, even in emergency situations, and have earned a reputation for delivering top-notch care. The waiting area could use a few things but this is the best vet. Dr. Ford and her team are patient and understanding, and they recently saved a cat and helped get a dog diagnosed. They are incredibly kind and make difficult situations a little less awful.
The staff at Burke County Animal Hospital were truly amazing during one of the hardest moments we’ve ever faced. We had to put our dog to sleep, and they were incredibly patient, kind, and empathetic throughout the entire process. They treated both our dog and our family with so much compassion and respect. We are deeply grateful for the care and understanding they showed us during such a painful time.
The waiting area could use a few things...a water fountain and dog walking area but this is the best vet I have used in all my 20 years owning dogs and cats. Dr. Ford is very compassionate and just really down to earth. I've had both sad and happy experiences with them and both were made better by Dr. Ford and her team. She recently had to put down my cat who I loved dearly and they were so patient and understanding. She also recently saved another cat and helped me get my dog diagnosed by an orthopedic surgeon. She is very personal with her animal clients and their human parents. I would definitely recommend this place for both price and medical care.
Amazing people here, came in here with my kitten that was passing and they were so incredibly kind. Explained what was going on and why there was nothing they could do, and are handling cremation. Took us as a walk in new patient less than 30 minutes before close. They really made the worst situation just a little less awful. Thank you guys.
