I gotta tell ya, I have gone the traditional medical route for years with several physical and "life issues". The most recent, 2 orthopedic Dr.s told me I needed surgery for two pinched nerves. After 4 treatments at ONH, no pain, and NO invasive surgery. Through semi-regular acupuncture regiment I have found comfort for various general life discomforts that traditional Dr.s can't really address without serious side effects or invasive treatments. Dr. Hecht has helped me with fatigue, relaxation, mental focus and concentration, poor sleep patterns, general and specific muscle and joint discomfort. She has recommended supplements and dietary methods that either work with or replace some of my 'conventional' medications for high blood pressure and cholesterol, intestinal discomfort and work in coordination with my acupuncture treatments. All that an an innate amazing spirit, attitude, friendliness and compassion that most Dr.s only read about in the one chapter in their medical scholastic that deal with "bed-side manner". Dr. Hecht was born with it. Perhaps not THE Panacea but she has come closer to more of my specific and day-to-day health issues than the combination of the many doctors that have done their best to curin' what ails me, mentally and physically. And let me not forget, one of the more important aspects of dealing with any medical professional, the office staff is friendly, efficient, HELPFUL, and compassionate.
