We moved and now drive an extra 30 minutes just to still come to Waleska Animal Hospital. They are so patient with our fur babies. Especially our dog who has anxiety and mild seizures when she walks into the building. They will now work with us and meet us outside, anything to help make her more comfortable.
She now has partial facial nerve paralysis and the nurses and vet were so sweet and patient. Definitely worth the extra 30 minute drive!
My dog had swallowed a pill that was dangerous for dogs. I called my vet and they just told me to call the animal poison hot line. I did and was told it would be $89 for the consultation and if I agreed to press 1. I pressed 1 and they then said “your wait time is 20 minutes”. (You must be kidding?!). So I drove my dog to the Waleska Animal Hospital and they immediately treated her as an emergency patient. Didn’t ask if I was a previous patient, didn’t make me sign 100 papers, just took care of my dog. She is now fine and I have a new vet.
Dr Smith is fantastic. The front desk staff is friendly and welcoming. (And they patiently reviewed cost comparisons with me) Prices are reasonable and no costs are hidden. Victoria was exceptional! She went above and beyond to make Cuddles’ experience as pleasant as possible! She was comforting, compassionate and knowledgeable. She made each step of the process a pleasure.
