The facility is highly regarded for leg workouts, with a range of machines such as a lying leg curl, single leg glute machine, leg extensions, plate-loaded leg presses, and a standing ham/glute kick machine. The pool and sauna are also praised. Bachata lessons are offered and are highly recommended. The gym is praised for its cleanliness and well-managed equipment. The staff is commended for their excellent customer service and helpfulness, creating a welcoming and positive environment. Customers appreciate the friendly and approachable staff, who make an effort to ensure a comfortable experience. I’ve been going to the LA Fitness on North Lake for a bit now, and overall, it’s a pretty solid gym. The facility is clean, and I appreciate that they have stations with wipes and sanitizer for cleaning the machines after use — definitely a plus for hygiene.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, and I generally feel comfortable working out here, whether it's during peak hours or quieter times.
The only downside I've noticed is that some of the machines are a bit rusty or worn, which might just be due to age. It doesn’t affect functionality much, but a little maintenance or upgrade wouldn’t hurt.

I’ve been going to this gym for a few months now, and overall, I’m really happy with the experience. The standout feature? Hands down, the staff. Everyone I’ve interacted with — from the front desk to the trainers — has been warm, approachable, and genuinely helpful. You can tell they care about creating a welcoming environment, and that makes a huge difference, especially for people who might feel a little intimidated starting out.

If I had to nitpick, the locker rooms could...read full review
