My experience with both Drs. Shokat and Boltja have been excellent! Seriously, I have been dealing with "post-Shingles" pain, known as Post-Herpetic Neuralgia (PHN) for over ten years. After seeing Dr. Shokat for a few visits, he suggested a procedure similar to blocking a nerve. It did wonders for the PHN pain on my left side. In the following months I was seen by one of his PA's, who was extremely sharp.Then Dr. Boltja joined the staff and she helped me deal with another issue - one that has been bothersome almost my entire life -- Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS). Edit 01/18/24 Dr. Shokat strives to always give the best possible solution for my issues. A pill is not always the best option. Dr. Shokat and his entire staff is committed to working together with one goal in mind: lessening my pain. I am very grateful for all they have accomplished in my life. From the shots in my knees, and now my shoulders with the correct medication they give to me, all to help enrich my life.I have yet to find anyone in their office with a disrespectful attitude or being rude to anyone. Southern Interventional Pain Center has made a world of difference in my life. My functionality has increased greatly through this practice. I am able to live a better life with their help! I greatly appreciate everyone involved at Southern Interventional Pain Center helping me manage my pain. The doctors listen to my concerns and find solutions that work. I recommend this practice to anyone suffering through pain and need help.
