Mason's has a new owner. Joseph Swords. Our family has used Mason's for a very long time, and we've always been taken care of. The new owner was already on staff with Masons. Joseph is caring and nurturing and will work hard to serve the grieving family. We recently lost our mother, and Joseph and the staff were incredible. They were always available to assist us from start to finish. We felt valued and supported during our time with them. The procession to the cemetery was carefully planned out with local law enforcement, and it was flawless. If you live in the Summerville area, and are in need of funeral services, call Joseph Swords. You won't regret it.
On 9/27/2024 I got the honor to preach my best friend’s father in laws funeral at Mason funeral home . I have also worked in funeral services for 28 years and I most say this is one of the best funeral homes I have been to. I must say that both Chris and Joseph were very very professional and caring to the family !! Their building is absolutely beautiful and there cars are very very clean ! I will say that when the need comes for a funeral home this is the one to call on .

Our family has utilized Mason's services more times than we care to count over the last decade. You can't ask for a more professional staff that is empathic and accommodating. The facility and chapels are beautiful, yet comfortable. They really know how to ease the stress you and your family go through during a difficult time.
