I get extremely anxious going to the dentist, and that fear kept me away for a long time. Because of it, I've been self-conscious about my teeth all my life. I thought I had found a decent dentist previously, but during a visit she told me something so surprising and alarming that it did not sit right with me at all. It bothered me so bad I delayed getting my root canal.
