I started seeing Dr. Chen in 2021 for assistance with Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, and related autoimmunity issues. I went gluten-free that year and began acupuncture to help manage my painful symptoms and ongoing inflammation. I chose this route in an effort to avoid exploratory surgery and medication with dangerous side effects that were presented by my OB-GYN as my only viable options.
I don’t know how else to say this exactly, but Dr. Chen’s treatment with acupuncture and Chinese herbs changed my life. I know that sounds extreme, but I was able to be a better version of myself without the chronic pain and fear of an impending flare.

After just one visit, my blood pressure was reduced, and I've been able to manage my hypertension with lower medications and the Chinese herbs she prescribed. The swelling in my legs was dramatically reduced as well. Her expertise and caring approach made all the difference.
