“My son took the 30 hours of classroom work and 8 hours of driving. I would rather he learn to drive on the Interstate with an instructor who has control over the vehicle. By completing the course, he was able to take the driving test through Taggart's. The driving instructor was very thorough and showed a lot of knowledge of the driving rules, which he passed along. “I had an amazing experience at Katlaw Truck Driving School. It is a memory I’ll cherish for a lifetime. The staff there are all incredible characters—friendly, inspiring, and genuinely caring. Some of the older staff pulled me aside for heartfelt conversations that motivated me and made me feel valued. The main instructor Brandon is a total badass; he's an ex-Army Ranger who can drive any truck and has more certifications than anyone I've ever known. He keeps it real, is super cool, and offers great advice on trucking careers, companies, and post-school decisions. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to focus my job search, and I ultimately signed with Jordan Carriers, which he recommended as the best fit for my goals.

The training was very helpful, especially the pre-trip inspection—you'll pass easily if you study and do it the way they teach you! While the yard trucks are not the newest or in the best shape; however, they are perfectly adequate for learning the maneuvers. The dedicated mechanic keeps them running,. You will get plenty of reps in if you choose to put the work in. Everyday on the yard is at least 8hrs. I got plenty of practice time and aced my skills test at the DDS first try! The road trucks are safe, DOT-compliant, and provided a great driving experience.

Overall, if you focus and put in the effort, you'll be successful here! I loved every moment of my time at Katlaw and highly recommend it to anyone looking to start their trucking career!

“I went to driving school here when I first got my license here in 2012. I have fond memories of driving school and received excellent coaching. At Milner, they ensure their students get the necessary training to be law abiding, safe drivers. We spent a lot of time discussing the terrible repercussions of distracted driving.

I wish everyone could go to Milner Driving School. Insurance in Atlanta sure would be a lot cheaper and the roads would be much less frustrating to drive.

I came to check to see if the business is still in operation and was glad to see that it is. It is a family business offering a great product. I was disappointed to see many negative reviews from “Karens” who never attended school here and like to throw fits on the internet when businesses don’t change their policies to suit their every whim. I would like to set the record straight. If you’re looking for excellent coaching and straightforward, decisive teaching, then Milner offers a fantastic product that I highly recommend.“
