My second worst salon experience in Savannah. I didn’t get my proper paid for service. Also when having a mild disrepute between the stylist, I asked to talk to the shop owner and she declined.
I’m a stylist myself and one thing I come correct to are my entitled clients.
“ATTENTION ALERT”My experience with Satin Dollz was phenomenal!! First I want to point out that my call was answered within three rings the cosmetologist I spoke with was very informational and made me feel more confident in giving my natural hair a 2nd chance. If your are looking for a master cosmetologist that understands the assignment aced it beyond expectations a welcoming vibe that feels homey as if she was your long lost relative catching up on the good days. Her customer service is heaven sent with her gentle hands that left my hair glowing smoother than butterfly milk as I watched her give the dead life. Please book with Tesha Heyward for a life changing...read full review
***BEWARE*** I will never go back to this salon again. I have been going to this salon for a few years and have spent a great deal of money getting hand made wigs by one of the stylist name Dutchess. Dutchess advertises on her web page and all of her social media accounts that all her wings are hand made by a sewing machine, always. Well for some reason this was not done this time, my tracks were sewn in with a needle and there are big gaps in between stitching causing the wig to be lumpy and tacky. I went to her prior to the install for her to measure my head before making the wig and it still was too big. I have been a loyal customer of Dutchess , spending nearly $600 to have my wigs made. In a period of 3 years I have probably had 6 wigs made, so I had no doubt she would listen to my issues and correct the problems she created. Well when I called her about the issues she created she was very rude and unprofessional. She had excuse after excuse, she claimed my wig was sewed by hand because her sewing machine was broke but she failed to notify me as the paying customer that she was having these issues so I could decide if I wanted her to proceed with making the wig. I was met with hostility and angry like I had caused a problem when clearly she was angry that she had to go back and correct her poor wig construction. Dutchess did agree to "fix my wig" which meant attempting to sew down the tracks on a lumpy poor constructed wig that was ruined by her. Lets just say I will never step foot back in that salon, I refuse to pay that kind of money for a half a** job and a bad attitude because you screwed up. Its really sad, you try to patronize and support your own people and this is how i was treated. These young stylist have a lot to learn about being a business owners, You keep loyal customers by doing excellent work and having a positive attitude. What God has given can easily be taken away when you treat people poorly and take money you clearly did not deserve because you failed to provide quality service.
