I duplicated my truck key because my old one was worn and triggered the security system. It works in both the door and the ignition. Just know that when it says it will deliver in 1 business day it means 3 or 4.

I LOVE the concept, but it is not reliable. I made keys from a non-original key in May - none of the keys worked.. I replaced the lock and made a key from an original and it was notchy and caught un the lock and didn't act like the original?! I love the idea of saving a key for a rainy day or to share with my new tenants signing a lease while our of town - but I dint trust it.. In addition, I have tried to remove the bad keys that didnt work from the dashboard of saved keys - one agent didnt know why I wasnt seeing the option, the second agent let me knoe that option went away eith their last update so they had to do it for me.. They were able to make one key but not the other key. I went to Lowe's both machines could not make the other key. I went to two other places and I am still unable to get the other key made.Service: Building key copying
