Right in the historic district on Bay Street. Walking distance of all the restaurants, bars, and river walk.Rooms: You can select rooms with a view if you are interested.Walkability: Historic district and city market and river walk surrounding the motel.
I specifically stayed at this Hampton as it was close to the activity I had planned. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and attentive. The only reason the stay was not 5 stars, is the parking situation. The parking lot on site is small with very tight parking spots. There is a parking garage for overflow parking but it is a small walk. Those with small children may find the walk longer than ideal. There appeared to be plenty of handicap parking.
We had the best time, this hotel is in the perfect location. Everyone is very nice and friendly. You have to go to breakfast and meet Connie she is a true treasure, answer's all your questions like you are the only person in the place. You can tell she loves her job.Rooms: Our room was spacious and very, very clean.Nearby activities: Street Shopping, short walk to Ruth Chris restaurant best Steaks ever.
