“I experienced severe pain that kept me awake on and off throughout the night. It began in my neck and radiated down into my left arm, with a constant throbbing sensation. My primary care doctor asked me to come in, but since I had just seen her the week before and forgot to mention the issue, I chose instead to visit an urgent care clinic in Savannah due to the distance to her office in Richmond Hill.

At urgent care, X-rays were taken, and I was diagnosed with arthritis. I received an injection and was prescribed two medications for five days. The injection helped me sleep that first night, but the relief was temporary, and the medications did not relieve the pain.

During my first visit, we discussed my diet and overall health concerns. She explained the treatment process in detail, and I found the office to be exceptionally clean, welcoming, and relaxing. After the first session, I experienced about a 30 percent reduction in pain, which surprised me.

I began sharing my experience with friends, telling them that acupuncture truly works. After my second session the following week, the pain decreased by another 20 percent. By then, the throbbing had significantly reduced, and I was starting to sleep better.
I missed a week due to other commitments, but after my third session, the pain stopped completely. I was finally able to sleep without any discomfort in my arm. I was amazed to find a solution to a problem that so many people struggle with every day.

Although the pain had resolved, I kept a previously scheduled appointment. During that visit, I explained that the arm pain was gone. In my final session, we continued treatment on my neck, and she also focused on improving my overall body balance with a full-body acupuncture treatment.

Many people are skeptical about acupuncture. Some are afraid of needles, while others prefer to rely on medication for quick relief. Western medicine is highly effective, especially for emergencies and certain conditions. However, Eastern medicine has been practiced and refined for thousands of years. Acupuncture can provide relief for aches, pain, headaches, and more. While results may vary, this was one of the best decisions I have made for my health.
