I was new in town and trying a new hair stylist for first time in 4 years so I felt a little nervous. Gary is very calming. He listens intently and has great ideas. He is honest and works with you to be sure you know what he is doing. The shop is lovely. He doesn’t make you feel rushed and I couldn’t be more pleased. I highly recommend Gary Travis salon.

Gary has been doing my hair for years and knows his stuff! He gets my color right every single time and his cuts are so flattering to my face! When my daughter had a color emergency (we decided to let a student color her hair) Gary was able to save the day and fixed her color beautifully! It’s a pleasure to sit in Gary’s chair - he has such a positive and kind personality and time goes by quickly when talking to him. I highly recommend Travis Salon!

After trying many hair stylists since I moved to Atl 5 years ago, Gary is the first person who “got” me. After I tried to explain the look I was after, he said “let me tell you what I think.” He got it absolutely right! I’m 71, with neck-length gray wavy hair that I blow out. I’m active and like to be fashionable but not into fads. The salon is family owned, down to earth, very friendly and reasonably priced.
