We had a great experience with Alan’s K9 and our trainer Morgan! Our pit bull was abused and neglected before he came to us and subsequently had a lot of anxiety around strangers. Morgan quickly gained his trust and taught him and us about obedience training. Every week we all learned something new and reinforced what we learned before. He’s like a different dog. Now he’s so much calmer and we can control his behavior with commands so we can be more comfortable when he meets new people or take him in public. We brought Molly home as a rescue and have been struggling with her high anxiety and reactivity. Our experience with 1:1 training at Alan’s K9 Academy has been outstanding. Misty was incredibly patient and always respected Molly’s limits while teaching us practical techniques to help desensitize her to people.
We also appreciated Haley and Alyssa joining sessions to safely introduce new people, which really helped Molly become more comfortable with others in our home.
